MINORITY

ABOUT
The Bob Schneeweis Trio
The Bob Schneeweis Trio is comprised of some of the most active jazz musicians in the area, and covers a wide range of style, from lush Bill Evans and ecstatic McCoy Tyner inspired straight-ahead jazz, to modern jazz inspired by pianists like Orrin Evans, Jason Moran and Uri Caine.

A transplant from Minneapolis, MN, Bob first came on that scene as pianist, composer/arranger and music director fort he popular Latin orchestra Salsabrosa, as well as briefly writing for and performing with the much-lauded Atlantis Quartet (then Quintet).

In the Detroit area, Bob is active as a sideman and soloist with a variety of groups, mostly in but occasionally also outside of jazz. He holds a Masters Degree in Piano Performance from Oakland University.
